PAIRAN’s RECOVERED STEEL SCRAP

 

The recovery of Metal i.e steel wires in end of life  tires is a sorted Homogenous scrap. At visual inspection, the scrap appears as a hank of long wires characterized by the presence of few ash and iron oxide. No rubber and fiber contamination is detected since the temperature in the furnace easily reaches 450 °C and all contaminants (rubber/fiber) are completely pyrolysed whenever our material is melted in an 5kg arc furnace, the yield has been consistently at 84% min.

 

When baled our scrap is HMS 1 coded ISS code 200 & 252 prepared for compact loading of furnace with bale size not exceeding 30 X 24 inches and bale wt not exceeding 60 kg but maintaining bale density for economical charging and efficient operation of furnace .
